Say, do you know anything about the history of MSOE's football program. I have it from an inside source in the Student Life department that MSOE is officially undefeated against Notre Dame in football, which would be distinct as the only team in the coutry to do so. Can you possibly verify that during the course of your work-day? Cheers, PaddyM 04:05, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, both of my alma maters haven't lost a single game to Notre Dame this season, although Michigan's streak isn't as long. Perhaps I should take a picture of the corresponding MSOE football T-shirt and add it to the main article. That would be great encyclopedic content. - I think I'm reading your response incorrectly, but I mean that MSOE is undefeated in the history of their program, not metaphorically since they do not currently have a team. Does that make sense? Anyway, I can't find the proper citation anywhere for it, unless maybe a book at the MSOE bookstore might have some insights. Cheers, PaddyM 18:01, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Although I think there was a football team at one point, very long ago, I would say it is not of note for Wikipedia. The "undefeated in football since 1903" is a common joke in the MSOE community and I thought you were alluding to that joke. Edurant 22:40, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
