The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Ottawa is the highest level foreign mission that is operated by the Eastern European nation and the only presence of Belarusian diplomatic offices inside Canada. The location of the embassy is in the capital city of Ottawa. Located on 130 Albert street, the embassy has been in operation since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.
The duty of the embassy is to provide Belarusian citizens with business and issues related to their stay in Canada, such as legal help. The embassy also serves as a gateway for Canadian citizens to explore Belarus and answer questions about entry requirements. The current ambassador to Canada, and head of the mission, is Nina Mazai, and has been accredited since 2001.
