The EPHE was established in 1968, so Mandel could not have graduated from it in 67. This must be a reference to the Sorbonne, which houses the EPHE. Describing Mandel as a "Belgian Jew" does seem odd. Wikipedia entries for Marx and Trotsky describe then as the children of Jews, and I have adopted the same form of words which I think better suggest their atheism. --DuncanBCS 21:42, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
