Talk:Eudora Welty
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Out of curiosity, why does limited information about Eudora Welty's burial site not belong in an article about her?--2112 rush 05:12, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- It belongs in the photo details. If you click upon the photo you will see its copyright status, uploader details, statistics, whatnot.. the photographer's details belong there. Also please use the talk page for talk, not my user page; I wish for it to be blank. Now I have to ask an administrator to erase your message. Thanks, bye. --Downwards 05:21, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't want to begin a revert war, however, I do not see the reasoning behind your argument. I'll post on the article's talk page for your convenience.--2112 rush 05:24, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- So, my question is, why does information about HER (specifically, where she is buried) not belong in the article? I'm not trying to be rude, but am curious as to your reasoning behind this.--2112 rush 05:26, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- My apologies, you are right. I though you had removed information from the article. You were justified to remove a byline from the photo.--2112 rush 05:35, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Why is the main image her tombstone?
Isn't that a little morbid? Considering that she was a photographer, there has to be some photos of her out there. KyuzoGator 14:56, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- Probably it's just that no one has found a usable (preferably free or GFDL'd) image of her. There certainly are photos of her out there, but perhaps they just aren't available for us to use here. I agree with you that it would improve the article significantly to have a photograph of Welty herself. --Tkynerd 02:13, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
