Albion Middle School

Albion Middle School, located in the western New York town of Albion, is formally known as Carl I. Bergerson Middle School. The 3-story Art Deco style building at 254 East Avenue features an auditorium, pool, community center, and fitness room.
The school draws its students from the Orleans County towns of Albion, Barre, Carlton, Elba, Gaines, Kendall[, Murray, and Ridgeway.
The school offers a broad range of programs aimed at sixth- through eighth-graders, including the following:
- Club PRIDE (student group that promotes a drug free school and community)
- 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant (academic intervention and enrichment)
- Interdisciplinary programs such as Civil War Days and Medieval Days
- Learn and Serve program
- National Junior Honor Society
- Safe School Ambassadors (anti-bullying program)
- School bookstore operated by 6th graders
- Student Council
