Benfotiamin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Benfotiamin, or benfotiamine, is an allithiamin, a naturally-occurring lipophilic form of thiamine. The primary use of this antioxidant is as an "anti-age" supplement. However, in Germany doctors have been known to combine benfotiamin with pyridoxine hydrochloride and use it to treat patients with nerve damage and nerve pain such as sciatica.
