Team logos have fair use copyright status and are only allowed on the team pages, if other independent league pages display team logos, they should be deleted there as well.Timpcrk87 21:36, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- the thing is, logos are used "to illustrate the corporation, sports team, or organization in question". This is standard, logos are licensed by league therefore they are league owned. Logos are also used on the home cities articles (again "to illustrate the corporation, sports team, or organization in question"). The point is, it is still illustrating the Team in question, it accompanies the Name of the team and is only used to illustrate the team. This does not violate any of the policies for logo use on wikipedia as stated on the sports logo template. --MJHankel 03:32, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- not to mention the fact that, if you plan on doing this you would have to remove them from all of the articles yourself, as they must all be done at the same time, per WP:MOS. Basically, they all must be alike, and if you change the one you must change the others. --MJHankel 03:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
