Highball with the Devil is the sole studio album by Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel, released in 1996. The name "Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel" is misleading; the bulk of the instruments on the album are played by Claypool himself, including all of the basses, as well as most vocals and drums, and many guitars. Guest appearances include Charlie Hunter on guitar for "Me and Chuck;" M.I.R.V. on guitar on songs such as "El Sobrante Fortnight" and "Hendershot," as well as on the saw for "Precipitation;" Jay Lane on drums; and Henry Rollins narrating "Delicate Tendrils."
