I see April 2000 listed as the first air date, but I clearly remember it premiering on MTV in October 2000, and a search of news articles from that time will support it. So what's the reasoning behind the much earlier April date?

My comments about Peter the Great of Russia predating Jackass in their antics is not vandalism, it is historical fact. It is relevant here, because it is generally assumed that the members of Jackass are corrupting society, while Peter the Great did similar stunts and is responsible for the Westernisation of Russia. who wrote this? ive seen The Vomlette on MTV quite a bit. it seems to be one of the more popular reruns. and, yes, i do live in the US(ohio).

I know that the latest movie was marketed to the homosexual community...but was it conceived as such? can anyone who has wathced the show and the first movie comment? Was the show originally homosexual oriented or was this a later development (ingenious marketing)??
- yes its gay humor the first movie had them running around naked or close to it and involving very homosexually oriented pranks etc..

It would make this article far more interesting and informative if there was a list of all known (moderate to serious) injuries involving various participants of Jackass. I refuse to do this myself because I am a lazy bastard loser. But, if you are an industrious winner, do it and be rewarded.
[edit] DVD Release & Episode List
I recently saw the jackass volumes 1-3 dvds, and was rather disappointed to find out that several bits which i had heard about were absent from the dvds ("abduction" & "night monkey 2" for example). So i came to this article to see if there was some explanation or reason, and possibly a list of skits or scenes not available on dvd, only to find that not only is there pretty much no mention of the dvds, but there isn't even an episode list for jackass, which wouldn't bother me, but wikipedia has articles that are lists of episodes for lots of shows, so i think that they should probably have a "List of Episodes of Jackass" article aswell as an addition to the Main Jackass article concerning the dvds and their differences from the broadcast episodes of jackass.69.213.152.159 04:09, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
