[edit] Star Wars Ownership
In the extra notes section, it was suggested that 20th Century Fox owns Star Wars. In fact, Star Wars is wholly owned by George Lucas personnally though his company Lucasfilm (and whatever minor partners he has in that company) and all 20th Century Fox has is distribution rights, including video distribtion rights with Fox Home Video. That makes the ties between M*A*S*H and Star Wars even more tenuous and the likelyhood of something amiss with introducing a "Darth Vader" character for the episode to be a pure coincidence. --Robert Horning 10:51, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
- That entry in the article is a little far-fetched. I mean, come on. Anyone who has seen the episode—and has a minimum-junior high school education—should be able to recognize a Japanese Samurai costume, instead of mistaking it for a "Darth Vader-esque" costume (in an episode years before Star Wars even came out, nonetheless). I would consider that "original research," and better yet, "original research by a moron." I mean, come ON. Wavy G 04:20, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
