[edit] Story
Facing insurmountable odds, the Spartans' sacrifice inspires all of Greece to unite against the Persian Empire's invaders. The story is based on the Battle of Thermopylae which took place in the summer of 480 BC.
[edit] Weapons
When you start the game, you have the lowest items of swords, shields, spears, and armor. To upgrade, you have to earn kleos(when translated, it roughly means "renown" or "honor").
All the equipment follow the same basic upgrade path, going from a "Spartan" version, then to "Runed", "Spiked", "Obsidian" and finally a legendary version. (Ex: "Spear of the Gods" or "Kopis of Titans")
