MGM-EMI is a British based film distributor. Its years of operation lasted from 1970-1973.

During the early 60s, EMI Records gradually took over the Associated British Picture Corporation (ABPC). By 1968, Associated British went bankrupt. It's assets including Associated British Film Distributors and Thames Television were folded into the company. Apart from that, EMI also purchased Warner Bros-Seven Arts investment in ABPC. The studios that formerly belonged to ABPC were replaced by EMI-Elstree. Instead of continuing their production programme at Borehamwood, MGM decided to co-finance some Elstree based productions. The former MGM British Studios became EMI-MGM Elstree and the distribution arm was MGM-EMI. MGM pulled out of the amalgamation by 1973.
