Hello. As you might have guessed from my badly-written username, my name is Mick Stephenson. I've lived (and worked) in Catalonia, Spain for about five years, but hail from another North Eastern coastline in England.

There's not a lot I'm not interested in, although I tend to get more obsessive about photography, architecture, cycling, carpentry and food than anything else. Lately I've been getting serious about wine.. I'm a philosophy graduate, which I (still) blame for a lifelong lack of direction.

I enjoy copyediting and tend to make radical re-jigs rather than minor edits. Most of my work here so far has been on Wine. The same is true of my Wikipedia work ;)

I make photographs for a living and have been finding it hard to get used to donating quality stuff to the Wiki project.. nonetheless, you'll find a link to some of the images I've uploaded to Wikimedia Commons here.
