ONIDEX

ONIDEX is a Venezuelan government institution. The name derives from the Spanish acronym for Oficina Nacional de Identificación y Extranjería (national Office of Identification and Alien Affairs). The function of this government office is to issue passports, identity cards, birth certificates, etc. for citizens of Venezuela and resident aliens from other countries. As of January 2007, the director of this institution is José Javier Morales.[1]
