H-II Transfer Vehicle(HTV)

JAXA Photo Archives allow you to look at and search through all the photographs available to the public from the JAXA collection. Data is appropriately updated. The use of all photo and image materials in our Archives is subject to the following conditions.

<Use of the materials> The materials in the JAXA Photo Archives can be used within the limitations of the following conditions.

  1. Usage is free if it is limited for the purpose of press coverage, education, and public relations activities for space development, and if it is within the scope that is clearly approved by applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Providing that you follow the Site Policy of the JAXA Website, you can freely use wall-paper size materials (less than 1024 x 768) that you can see on the website.
  3. Alteration or distortion of JAXA materials is not permitted. Materials should not be re-edited if there is any possibility of damaging the image of JAXA or infringing on the rights of the portrait and the rights of a certain person through re-editing. (Should you wish to edit photographs, please contact JAXA in advance.)
  4. When using materials, JAXA should be credited as the source. (Unless noted otherwise, the copyrights of the materials in the Photo Archives belong to JAXA.)
     Examples of credit for JAXA materials: "Courtesy of JAXA" or "JAXA"
  5. Materials belonging to other organizations
     In the case that another source of the material is mentioned in a "comment" section next to a photo (e.g. NASA photo,) such material is provided by another organization for public relations purposes. If you use such materials, make sure that you put an appropriate credit according to the description in the comment section.
     Example of credit for other organizations: "NASA/JAXA Photo"
  6. If there is some special note in a comment section next to a material, please follow that note.
  7. Usage of materials does not imply that JAXA supports a certain activity of a specific individual or organization.
  8. JAXA neither guarantees the reliability and safety of the materials nor is it responsible for any damage that may be caused by the use of the materials.
  9. In the case of usage for commercial purposes, prior approval by JAXA is required. Please contact us.
