User:Painbearer (real name: Chavdar Likov) (born: February 7, 1986 (age 21) is a user in Wikipedia. He has been working on Wikipedia since arond December 2004 and he has gained a lot of experience. Chavdar also has an extensive range of other interests beside Wikipedia, which is one of his primary hobbies.

I am studying Library and information science in Sofia University in Bulgaria. I'm living in Sofia with my dad, Yordan Likov, who is an architect and who has designed the Mall of Sofia (among other buildings) and my sister, who is bachelor of history and is currently finishing her master's degree in tourism.
I am having extensive drumming lessons at the moment and thus I work on various drummer pages as well. I was working most of 2006 in a data processing agency, called Aii Data Processing - a client for Factiva, a Dow Jones company. I quit my job due to pressures of my failling health and because I wanted to concentrate on different things beside working. As of 2007, I am slowly moving into finishing my bachelor's degree and I am going into Work and Travel USA this summer.

Also, I'm reading many books and I want to work with literature, or even some artistic lurches towards creative writing. But it's too far away to be certain at this point. Among the genres I love are space opera/science fiction and historical fiction. I also have extensive knowledge in fantasy fiction and classic literature. At the moment I'm just enjoying books and I think I'd like to write books when I'm a fully developped and experienced individual.
I'm big fan of music, but my social status is forcing me to download music rather than buying it. Nevertheless I have about 100 original CDs and I'm big fan of rock 'n' roll and particularly alternative rock, Britpop and British Invasion bands. I also have an extensive knowledge in classical music, folk music and jazz music. My love of music pushed me even to take drum-sticks and try to learn drumming. I am trying to spend some money to buy a proper drum kit, because any proper progress into this area can't be achieved without proper instrument.
I am also heavily interested in cultural anthropology and anthropology in general. I am considering starting a second bachelor degree in the near year somewhere in the English-speaking world, preferably UK. I am projecting it to happen around October 2008, when I plan to enroll in a suitable college and move to UK for a time.
I am also interested in futures studies and human history in general, that contribute to my other interest, or more properly said - belief, in transhumanism. As a transhumanist, I believe that humanity should use all kinds of technology to better its condition. In terms of politics I describe myself as liberal democrat. I am more like a World Citizen and support globalisation and democratic mundialization, over nationalism and xenophobia. I am also staunch humanist and humanitarian. In the way of religion I defined myself as a nontheist and that's the way I was educated in my family, but since March 2007 I found God and now I am christian. I am interested in Buddhism, Confucianism and other eastern philosophies. I am also interested in syncretism or some mishmash of religious beliefs and customs. I believe in the human's unity with nature, I am nature philosopher.

I really love my work here. I really, really do. I think that I really integrated. Аs an uploader, I aim for practicality and "straight-to-the-point" approach. Meaning that I am most likely to scrap huge amounts of material that I feel are redundant or overburdensome. When I see a messy article I tend to do big and substantial edits just to put some sort of direction of the article into further developping. I don't say everything is perfect, but I think I have progressed with time. Wikipedia has grown with me too, so I just like to thank those editors, who have shown respect and understanding. Like I said this direct approach likely wins me many adversaries, who either doesn't wish to collaborate with me or completely disregard my edits. Nevertheless, I think that so far, I have done good work formating the tone and style of some of the articles. Тhe biggest satisfaction for me is to see an article turning full-fledged.
