[edit] Location of Pacific City
I unlinked Pacific City as it doesn't refer to the current location of Pacific City. According to the USGenWeb info, it was located on the Columbia River, and Cape Disappointment and Fort Canby are in Washington, so there's no help in Oregon Geographic Names. The closest current settlement is Ilwaco, Washington. Katr67 01:06, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- USGS Listing: [1] Interesting how it says White "dishonestly promoted" the place.
- Maps and aerial photos
- Street map from Google Maps, or Yahoo! Maps, or Windows Live Local
- Satellite image from Google Maps, Windows Live Local, WikiMapia
- Topographic map from TopoZone
- Aerial image or topographic map from TerraServer-USA
- I can't find much on the 'net, but maybe one of these days I'll whip up an article...

- I found this, with relevant info about mid-way. The dates there better match than the USGS. Looking at the land sale documents from the USFenWeb artricle it looks like Stewart new that he was not getting good title, so I think White was honest with at least him.
