Phoenix Players is the largest community theatre in Nairobi, Kenya. It was founded in 1983 presenting productions on a continuous repertory basis. Festival of Creative Arts founded in 2005 is another vibrant group. This group that mainly performs at the Kenya National Theatre, situated near Norfolk Hotel, has in the recent past produced plays of unrivaled high quality.
