"Pretty Tied Up (The Perils of Rock N' Roll Decadence)" is a song by the hard rock band, Guns N' Roses. Written by rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, it appears on one of the band's 1991 albums Use Your Illusion II. The song opens with the sounds of a coral sitar played by Stradlin.
The Second verse starts with the lyrics:
- Once there was this rock n' roll band
- Rollin' on the streets
- Time went by and it became a joke
Indicating that Stradlin was onto something and had maybe foreseen the demise of the band.
The song was a live favourite during the Use Your Illusion Tour[citation needed] and a live version can be heard on the album Live Era: '87-'93.
