Rachel Lee

Rachel Lee (born March 18, 1988 in Chicago) is an American violinist.
Regarded as one of the most promising upcoming talents on the international stage, Rachel has performed with major orchestras worldwide, including the Chicago, Seattle and Saint Louis Symphonies, the Seoul Philharmonic, and the KBS symphony. At nine years of age she performed at the United Nations' 50th Anniversary celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Rachel has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the New Yorker, the Denver Post, the San Diego Union Tribune, and on national television at the 2000 Grammy awards. Despite her early eminence, her playing has been charactized as 'mature beyond her years' and as 'a violinist of utmost stature'.
She has studied at the Juilliard School of Music since age 8 and currently attends Harvard University, commuting to New York on weekends for lessons with Itzhak Perlman and Robert Mann.
