Note: more userboxes on my about page
- I used to contribute as User:140.32.xx.xxx and User:70.160.xxx.xxx before I chose the handle "Rlevse". Sometimes I still do that when I forget to log in-;).
I started out on Wikipedia mainly doing copyedit, cleanup, and wikifying articles--which I did dozens of times. My main interests are history, Scouting, Boy Scouts of America, the military, and movies. My wife is from Thailand, so I have worked on many articles regarding that country and culture. I am retired from the U.S. Navy and now work as a computer systems engineer.
One of the founders of Scouting WikiProject, created Scouting Portal (the 8th Featured Portal on WP), Good Articles reviewer, V0.5 and V1.0 projects, and Recent Changes Patroller. See About me.
According to this page, I am the 195th highest contributor to Wikipedia.

Rlevse, Thanks so very much for supporting the recent FAC of Cheers. It was successful and Cheers has been promoted! I'm looking forward to hopefully getting Cheers on the front page. In the mean time, please accept this Beer as a token of my gratitude. Cheers! Staxringold 11:59, 30 January 2006 |

I just want to say thanks for all of your hard work that I have witnessed on Scouting articles. I know you already have this barnstar, but I would like to personally thank and congratulate you. Keep up the fine work! ¡Dustimagic! (T/C) 21:45, 18 February 2006 (UTC) |
A sash full of Scouting Barnstars; For reaching your seventh month of never-ending and utterly relentless hard work on Scouting-related articles. For never losing focus like the rest of us do, and still having the energy to dabble in other areas of Wikipedia. And because a third copy of the original Scouting Barnstar would look too repetitive on your user page! — Rebelguys2 18:33, 15 May 2006 (UTC) |
I, Wim van Dorst, give you this Scouting barnstar for your excellent input to get Baden-Powell House to Featured Article |
The Barnstar of Diligence, In appreciation for your persistent efforts in improving the Medal of Honor article in its Featured Article review, I present you with this Barnstar of Diligence. — ERcheck |

The Society Barnstar, For creating all of the Scouting-categories and their pages; I've been able to copy almost two dozen so far in the Fraternity and Sorority project. In this manner, you've helped bring that project into the Wiki Age! My mother thanks you. My father thanks you. My sister thanks you. And I thank you. ScouterSig 22:35, 26 January 2007 (UTC) |
