Screenshot of map taken from pdf version of the National Routeing Guide, which is sufficiently detailed/specialist that no free images exist. Sourced from website of Association of Train Operating Companies, who maintain the document, freely available to the public for download, and is of no value without the rest of the document except as a representation of that document. The document is not Crown Copyright, as a result of the privatisation of the UK's rail network.
The document is, however, a document which the public may freely use and access, just like a timetable, indeed it may be considered on an equal footing to the "National Rail Conditions of Carriage", which is maintained by the not-for-profit Rail Settlement Plan, which is run by the ATOC.
This work is copyrighted and unlicensed. It does not fall into one of the blanket fair use categories listed at Wikipedia:Fair use#Images or Wikipedia:Fair use#Audio_clips. However, it is believed that the use of this work in the article "National Routeing Guide":
- To illustrate the object in question
