Talk:Sinclair Method
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the interest of Wp:npov I took this stuff out:
- The "give 'em a pill and send 'em home" simplicity of the system is anathema to our current alcoholism treatment industry.
- Other obstacles are more mysterious and tentative. It is guessed that the pharmaceuticle company that makes the antagonist does not wish to pursue advertising this treatment because its use would decrease the sales of other more profitable drugs. Although insurance companies would benefit from the decrease in inpatient alcoholism treatments, it is suggested that they would lose money in the long run from former alcoholics who no longer let their health slide until they lose their jobs and their insurance.
That may all be true, but how about all that encyclopediosity the wikipedia is trying to achieve? And I stuck in some [citation needed] tags because I'm a credulous guy, but even I need some kind of backup when the article is obviously written by Sinclair's grandchildren. 65.94.43.152 06:23, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
