Supreme Patriarch of Cambodia

The Supreme Patriarch of Cambodia (Sangharaja) is the effective leader of the Buddhist community in Cambodia. At the moment the post is held by Samdech Tep Vong.
There are two sects of Therevada Buddhism in Cambodia: Mohanikay and Dhammayuth. Bou Kry is the supreme patriarch of Dhammayuth and Tep Vong is the supreme partriarch of the larger and older Mohanikay.[citation needed]
