Thelma Houston's Daughter Kim was my walking partner at graduation from Wilson High School in Long Beach, California in 1978.

I lived across the street from Thelma until about a year ago. That woman is amazing! She is working on creating her own fashion line. She did some of the re-modeling work on her house by herself. She's artistic in so many ways. She is also very real and very kind. A number of times, I watched her take in her elderly neighbor's garbage cans when she didn't know anyone was looking. Miss you, Thelma! It was great having you as a neighbor!
