The Hunger (serial)

The Hunger is an English television horror serial based on the feature film of the same name. It is divided into two seasons, broadcast in The serial is from 1997-2000. Each season contains 22 episodes. Each episode is an almost meaningless story often focused on themes like cannibalism, vampires, sex or poison.
Both the feature film and the first season of the serial starred David Bowie as actor. His role as introducer of each episode was taken over by Terrence Stamp during second season. Tony Scott, director of the film, has also directed some of the episodes of serial.
The serial didn't receive major success and it was often broadcasted late at night. Each episode is 24 minutes long (30 including commercials in USA).
