The Independents
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Independents is a ska/rock/punk/horror band from South Carolina, USA. The band consists of the two founders, Evil Presly and Willy B. The band started in the early nineties. They were discovered by Joey Ramone of The Ramones whilst opening a show for them, during their "Acid Eaters" tour. Joey later managed the band, and continued to be their manager and mentor, and last but not least a dear friend all the way until his death in 2001. Joey produced the album "Back From The Grave", along with his fellow friend Daniel Rey in 2001. The latest album by The Independents is called "Eternal Bond".
