Tris-Cl
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tris-Cl is a solution frequently used in biochemistry made from Tris base and concentrated hydrochloric acid (HClaq). To make 1 mol/L Tris-Cl dissolve 121.1 g of tris base in 700 ml of double distilled water, bring to desired pH with concentrated HClaq (usually 7.5 or 8.0), add double distilled water to 1 L, filter with 0.5 μm filter, autoclave, and store at room temperature.
