[edit] Summary
Example of vector graphics versus bitmap graphics. Originally, this image was an SVG public domain image from the Open Clip Art Library, but I used Inkscape to make the image fit for an illustration of vector and raster graphics, so this is not only an example of vector graphics, which is why it is in PNG - a format which accurately depicts how any graphics look (vector and bitmap) when not up-sized.
