Velika Kladuša is a town and municipality in the far northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located near the border with Croatia. The closest cities are Cazin and a bit farther Bihać and Bosanski Novi. Across the border it's not far from Cetingrad. It is administratively part of the Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During Bosnian war, the town was a capital of the Republic of Western Bosnia. Following the end of Bosnian War, the town was the home of the Canadian Forces NATO camp supporting the IFOR and SFOR Peacemaking missions from Jan. 1995 to 2003.

According to the 1991. census the municipality of Velika Kladuša had 52,908 residents, including:
