Vulcan's Thumb is a vertical, rotten volcanic peak located directly on the southern ridge of Pyroclastic Peak. It is one of the five main volcanic peaks of Mount Cayley and remains unclimbed because of technical difficulties and its loose rock. Vulcan's Thumb last erupted during the Pleistocene.
