From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
WISK ("Best Country Around") is a radio station licensed to Americus, Georgia and owned by Sumter Broadcasting. Two frequencies use the call sign as of January 2005, 98.7 FM and 1390 AM, although there is a pending application by the station owner to move the AM broadcast to Lawrenceville, Georgia and the 990 AM frequency.
The WISK call sign has been used by other broadcasters, including a shortlived station of the late 1950s in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, now known as KDWB.
