Xie of Xia

Xie (泄) was the 10th ruler of the legendary Xia Dynasty. He possibly ruled 25 years.
He got his throne in the year of Xinwei(辛未).
In the 12 year of his regime, the Shang vassal Zihai(子亥) travelled to and lived in Youyi(易杀), Zihai was dissolute so the leader of Youyi, Mianchen(绵臣) killed him.
In the 16th year of his regime, Shang minister Wei(微) led the troop from He(河伯) invaded Youyi and killed their leader Mianchen.
According to Bamboo Annals, on the 21st years of his regime, Xie fought with the surronding tribes of Fei(畎夷), Bai(白夷), Chi(赤夷), Xuan(玄夷), Feng(风夷),and Yang(阳夷). He won the battle and all of the tribes obeyed his order.
