Is Yammmy the correct spelling? Most translations I've read write it as Yamii or Yammi..

- If this is ignorance of the Japanese language let me know, but is this an example of simplifying the name for American tastes? It seems that the name is Yami (meaning 'darkness')so the strange romanization bugs me. Other distinctly Japanese names are fine, but this gets changed to Yammy for what reason? [edit] exaggeration in this article.
yammy's strength isn't exactly "incredible" he has got his ass handed to him by almost everyone. he only beat inoue (more of a healer than a fighter) and chad...hell d-roy almost took out chad back then.
yammy took the same blast from kisuke in his second fight with him and was still alive, i doubt it would have killed him that time either.
I doubt a punch on the ground is fatal, he punched ichigo a lot already and he was still alive.
