Flostrand

Flostrand is a village in Rana municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the northern bank of the fjord Sjona.
The district surrounding the inner part of Sjona previously belonged to Nesna municipality. On 1 January 1964 this particular district, which had 543 inhabitants at the time, was merged with Mo i Rana, Nord-Rana and a part of Sør-Rana to create the new municipality Rana.
