Frank Schweihs

Francis John Schweihs, aka "the German" (1930? - ) is a hitman who has been known to work for the Outfit, a Cosa Nostra family in Chicago. He is currently under indictment. It is believed he has knowledge of many murders including brothers Tony and Michael Spilotro, Allen Dorfman of the Teamsters Union, informant Dick Cain, Outfit boss Sam Giancana, loanshark "Mad Sam" DeStefano, Outfit hitman Chuckie Nicoletti, and others. He has been convicted of extortion, and beginning in April 2005, he was a fugitive along with Joseph Lombardo; however, he was eventually caught in Berea, Kentucky on December 16, 2005, and less than a month later Lombardo was caught on Friday the 13th of January 2006.
