Sri Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji is the Pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peetham in Mysore. Swamiji was born at Mekedatu in southern India on May 26, 1942. He is considered as an avatara of Celestial Guru Lord Dattatreya.

Swamiji pioneered in reinventing and Spreading "RaagaraginiVidya", an ancient musical tradition which augments Spiritual Sadhana and cures ailments. Swamiji tours around the world , conducts Healing concerts and spreads Spirituality. Swamiji has installed Datta temples around the world in India, USA, West Indies.

Swamiji has composed and rendered over 7000 Bhajans on various dieties in Telugu, Sanskrit, Kannada and Hindi. Swamiji combines his music therapy with ayurveda, psychology, gem therapy and astrology. These Bhajans are very popular among Swamiji's devotees. Swamiji repeatedly says, in this Kaliyuga only through Bhajans you can invoke God as normal person does not have the ability, patience and skill to perform the religious austerities. Swamiji's messages are simple,elegant and Lucid and have captivated elite and masses alike with their import. Swamiji delivers spiritual message using short stories from puranas.

Sri Swamiji is a Sadguru & is available to everybody. That means a lot to many true Spritual Seekers. Reading His life history itself is a great eye opener to a true spritual seeker. Listening to His Bhajans is life rejunivating. It does not matter even if you do not understand the meaning of every word. Just Listen. Sri Swamiji says listening to Music in the correct manner is an Art. Have a open mind & seek the true meaning to His Mission. One will be greatly benifitted.

Swamiji has openend an old age home in Hyderabad with the project title named 'Ammavodi'. He also opened an orgainsation called S.E.R.V.E (Scientific Research on Vedas) with headquarters in Hyderbabd. The project's mission is to decipher the scientific content in ancient vedas.
