GE LNG
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
GE LNG is a company that is constructing a liquid natural gas terminal on Bioko Island, in Equatorial Guinea. The project is scheduled to begin operation in 2007. Financing for the terminal is sourced primarily from Marathon Oil and from Sonagas, the Equatorial Guinean national natural gas company. Mitsui and Marubeni are also participating.
[edit] Operations
The plant is planned to ship 3.4 million tons of LNG per year.
Although the liquefaction equipment was supplied by General Electric's Oil & Gas division, there is no association between GE LNG and the General Electric Company.
