[edit] Raul Castro
Hi there,
I see where you were going with the change in the photo's caption however, I think by the uniform that its clear he's a rebel soldier, don't you? Lemme know.
Cheers,
Goatboy95 19:45, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi Goatboy. I think he's likely to be a rebel deserter. I've just erred on the side of caution and have added a source. I hope such pics pass the strict copywrite laws on wikipedia - because the site I've referenced has some great photos for many articles. --Zleitzen 00:42, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Interesting - I'll check it out! FYI - if you're ever feeling bored - you should check out Magnum Photos' website for some interesting Kodachrome (color) images of Cuba pre-Castro - going as far back as the 40s I believe. Also, either Getty Images or Corbis have interesting archives of color images of Hemingway at his home in Cojimar. I've always found it fascinating to see a splash of color in what is normally viewed as a B/W world - visually speaking. The color images being so rare from those days. Be well. [edit] El Jigue
- Hello Goatboy95, I see you've met 'El Jigue'. EJ has taken to calling me Buendia recently. He has been blogging talk pages, with his pro-democracy Cuba views for quite sometime and has refused to comform to Wikipedia policies. I'm currently reminding him (though it's futile), to stop blogging. GoodDay 22:27, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:RaulExecution.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:RaulExecution.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dakota 15:09, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Please check again - think you overlooked the tag. It was GFDL tagged. Thanks!

- Hola, It has no source. Does not say where you got the image from. It needs that information also. Thanks.--Dakota 17:10, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Ahhh, OK - it's a public domain image - available in many, many different archives. I'll pick one and slip the reference into the image.
Cheers.

[edit] Image:1228_image_3.jpg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:1228_image_3.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. - Please take a look at the "File History" section on the image description page. It says that you uploaded it on November 30, 2006. If you take a look at Special:Contributions/Goatboy95, you can see other edits made from your account on or about that time. Do you recognize them? If there is any question that someone else may have used your account, you may want to consider changing your password. Do you ever edit from a public computer (such as from a school library, at work, etc?) Is it possible that someone else at your school or place of employment could have used the computer (innocently) while you were logged in? If you ever are on a public computer, it's important to always log out or even clear your cookies before you leave. --BigDT 15:47, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks BigDT - will take a look into this today.
Best,
