H. Beau Baez

H. Beau Baez is a professor of law at the Liberty University School of Law, where he teaches courses in Torts and Taxation.

He received his undergraduate degrees at Liberty University (B.A. in Biblical Studies & B.S. in Speech Communications) and his J.D. & LL.M.(taxation) degrees at the Georgetown University Law Center. He developed an expertise in state & local taxation during the eight years he worked at the Multistate Tax Commission in Washington, DC and he continues to write articles in the state & local taxation area. He is a regular columnist in the TAXPRO Journal, where his "Multistate Update" informs readers of current trends in multistate taxation.
When he lived in Washington he joined the Supreme Court Bar and attended many significant oral arguments, including the Bush v. Gore cases.
