Hapoel Galil-Elyon (Hebrew: הפועל גליל עליון) is an Israeli basketball team playing in premier Ligat Winner division. The team represents the north-east region of the country - the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights.
In 1992/93, the team -- then coached by Pinhas "Pini" Gershon -- became the only club based outside Tel Aviv to have won the Israeli Championship.
Over the past 20 years, many of the Israel's most successful basketballers have come through the club, including Nadav Henefeld, Oded Katash, Doron Sheffer, Gur Shelef, Lior Eliyahu and Sharon Shason.
