Headlines Today is a premier 24-hour English language Indian news and information television channel sponsored by TV Today Network Ltd. which is part of the well-known India Today Group. The channel launched in the year 2003 is a sister channel of the Hindi Aaj Tak news channel and is one of the four niche news channels from the TV Today Network stable.
The channel is the first of its kind in English language news segment. Its tag line is: Sharp News for Sharp People. Headlines Today has many popular extra-news programmes such as "WheelSpin", "EQ", and "The Last Word". Some of its eminent prime time anchors are Mr Chetan Sharma, Ms Avantika Singh, Ms Radhika Bajaj and Mr.Zakka Jacob (NewsReader in the picture below).
