I took the liberty, before I registered my name, of adding that Westbound Train has indeed been signed by hellcat, and the new record should be out later in 2006.

[edit] Los Difuntos
Los Difuntos, a psychobilly band from L.A., announced on their blog that they have officially signed to Hellcat. (The fact that they were about to be signed was a popular rumour for quite a while.) Even though they were featured on the last Hellcat sampler, Hellcat has yet to officially announce it (unlike with their other new signing, Society's Parasites) so I have not added them to the list yet. The Transplants should be moved from Former Bands to Defunct Bands, as they have broken up and not been dropped from the label (which would be technically impossible as Tim Armstrong is part of that band). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by GeddyIsGodYYZ (talk • contribs) 18:25, 30 October 2006.
- It's not impossible. Just because a band member owns a record label doesn't mean that band has to release everything through that label. They're most recent album was not on Hellcat, it was on LaSalle Records or something like that, which is Travis Barker's label. I think they are fine under Former bands. Hepcat are still around and not defunct at all, they actually plan on releasing a new album in 2007!
