HMP22 is a rather unique handle I use on the internet.

[edit] Name etymology

The 'HMP' component of the handle is not at all related to hemp, as many have suggested. It is actually an initialism for "helpmeplease". It's earliest appearance was on the GameFAQs message boards. At the time, I needed help with a video game. I did not anticipate that he would be returning to the site any time soon, and therefore I was not concerned terribly about my username. I was also about 11 years old. The result was "helpmeplease". This account still exists, and is one of the older accounts on GameFAQs (the user ID is 40936, while the newer accounts are in the 2000000s).

The '22' component is based on my favourite number, 22.
