Strawberry Shortcake: Housewarming Surprise is an animated television special from 1983, produced by Nelvana. This is the fourth to feature the American Greetings character, Strawberry Shortcake.

- This special included the first animated appearances of the characters Café Ole’, Almond Tea, Mint Tulip, Crêpe Suzette, and the twins, Lem n' Ada.
- This also marks the first appearance of the following pets: Burrito the burro, Marza Panda, Marsh Mallard the duck, Elcair the poodle, and Sugar Woofer.
- This was the first Strawberry Shortcake special produced by Nelvana, the previous three having been produced by Romeo Muller, Robert L. Rosen, and Fred Wolf.
- An animated version of Kenner's Dancing Strawberry Shortcake Doll appeared at the end of this special.
