Ian Kelsey

Ian Kelsey (born 17th December 1966 in York, UK) is a British television actor.
His first credited role was Narmco Clerk in the 1993 TV mini-series "Wild Justice".
Since then he has gone on to play Dave Glover in Emmerdale, had a cameo role in BBC comedy series Men Behaving Badly, had a 3 year stint as Casualty's Dr Patrick Spiller and appeared in BBC1 drama Down To Earth as Matt Brewer (Series 3-4) during 2003 and 2004.
Not content with playing straight roles, Ian has branched into the thriller side of acting. His first brush adding the chilling side to his many acting skills was in mini-series Touching Evil (the 3rd installment) in which he played a crying boyfriend. Liam Taylor was his next role in murder mystery/thriller Murder In Mind - he appeared in the "Vigilante" episode. He also played DI Richard Mayne in detective thriller T.V Blue Murder - the episodes he featured in were entitled "Lonely" & "Pilot".
In 2006 Ian has had acting roles in BBC1 late-night sexy drama "Hotel Babylon" and could be seen in ITV1 Sunday evening drama Where The Heart Is, playing Jack Clayton opposite actress Shobna Gulati). This is his second role in the show - as in 2005 he played a completely different character: Adam Miller.
In late 2006 he started appearing on the stage in the London West End production of Chicago
He is married to showgirl Mia Michaels and together they have a daughter, Leila.
