Interstate 80 is a major Interstate highway in the US. Large portions of highway are concurrent with U.S. Route 30.
[edit] History
Back in the days before the Interstate Highway system, U.S. Route 30 ran slightly north of the current freeway alignment along the Lincoln Highway. Now, the Lincoln Highway does not have a route designation for large stretches, but there are some exceptions where US 30 is aligned on the Lincoln:
- 97 miles from Walcott to Laramie
- 12 miles through Cheyenne
- 2 miles through Pine Bluffs to the Nebraska state line
