I've been contributing anonymously for a long time, but I should finally get around to signing up for an account. My name is Kevin Prest; I was born and brought up near Oldham, England. I studied Physics at the University of Birmingham until 2005 before moving to Beijing and spending 6 months working at Tsinghua University as a computer technician. I now work in a market research company writing reports on the Chinese telecommunications industry. I got married in September 2006 and currently live with my wife in the Jinsong area of Beijing, a few kilometres south of Guomao.
Most of my contributions tend to be in areas related to anime or 1990s computer games, although I have sometimes been known to contribute to articles on more worthy topics.
