La Nuclear Blast è una casa discografica con filiali sia in Europa che negli Stati Uniti e nel Sud America. Si occupa prevalentemente di musica Heavy Metal, con un catalogo particolarmente vasto nei sottogeneri più estremi, quali black, death, gothic, thrash metal e metal core.
La Nuclear Blast è stata fondata nel 1987 da Markus Staiger; inizialmente ha pubblicato dischi solamente sul mercato tedesco. Ha iniziato a diffondersi a livello europeo nel 1993 e poi in America a partire dal 1993.
