Jailbreak is the sixth studio album by Irish band Thin Lizzy, released in 1976. (see 1976 in music). This album proved to be Lizzy's commercial breakthrough in the U.S. The singles include "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back in Town", Thin Lizzy's biggest hit and most successful song. Ironically, the band originally wanted to release "Running Back" as the first single. This would account for the songs ready-for-radio arrangement.
